Episode 198: How Will Star Wars Streaming Change Fandom?

On this weeks show, Barb, Carl, Devin and Eve sit down and play the newest game in the galaxy! Hint: think weddings but not weddings! We also dive right into our closer look by taking a closer look at how Disney+ streaming will change fandom. So join us…

New Game Alert!

“Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!”

Here’s how gameplay works:

Contestants will need to identify something for each one of the prompts. For example: Under the label of “Something Old,” contestants have to give me something from Star Wars they’d willingly get rid of. Under the umbrella of “Something New,” contestants need to give me something they’d like to add to Star Wars. “Something Borrowed” is where they get to bring over a character or storyline from another film, and “Something Blue” is their saddest Star Wars moment.

Special: Vader vs Alien Queen Xenomorph by Guillem H. Pongiluppi

Closer Look:

  • After roughly one season of The Mando, Casian and Obi, we’ll have more runtime that the cinematic universe - how might this (re)shape our fandom?

  • Will streaming shows be considered in the 'what's your favorite Star Wars' debate?
